Job summary

QuickMD is seeking licensed physicians to join our fully virtual team. This role offers independent contractor work with set visit schedules, compensation per completed consult, and the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Physicians typically commit 15–20 hours per week, across multiple days, with licensing in at least five states and DEA/CSL credentials required. All onboarding is supported by our provider-support team.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Telehealth experience or high-volume in-person practice.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses; QuickMD covers costs.
• Active DEA registration and CSL where required.
• Ability to manage 15–20 hours per week across at least four days.
• Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and history reviews.
• Prescribe medications and guide their proper use; note regulatory limits for controlled substances.
• Collaborate with fellow physicians and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to ensure continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovations, best practices, and clinical guidelines.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
