Job summary

QuickMD offers fully virtual telemedicine practice for physicians who want flexible scheduling. Physicians set their own visit times within a structured weekly framework and work from anywhere, with no traditional office overhead.

Compensation is per completed consult ($35), with $105/hour at 20-minute visit length and scale up to $210/hour for shorter visits. The top 10% earn $260K+ annually; 15–20 hours per week is typical.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states with willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
