Job summary

QuickMD offers a fully virtual telemedicine practice with physicians licensed in at least five states. Physicians set their own schedules within a structured weekly framework and work from anywhere as independent contractors.

Compensation is $35 per completed consult, reaching up to $210/hour with shorter visit times; top earners surpass $260K annually by maximizing visit efficiency. This role targets 15–20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for TX and other states).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly, across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
