Job summary

QuickMD is seeking dedicated physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join a fully virtual telemedicine team. Providers set their own schedule within a weekly framework and operate with a streamlined EMR and provider-support team.

Compensation is $35 per completed consult, with pay increasing to $210/hour as visits shorten. The role requires 15–20 hours weekly, offering independence as an independent contractor and nationwide remote work.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states and willingness to obtain additional licenses (licensing costs covered).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across at least four days per week.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver patient-centered care and build strong doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with telemedicine innovations and best practices.
