Job summary

QuickMD, a leading telemedicine provider, seeks dedicated physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join a fully virtual team. Physicians set their own consult schedule and work remotely with clinician support and streamlined EMR tools.

Compensation is per completed consult, with earnings escalating as visit times shorten and volumes increase. This role offers significant flexibility, independent contractor status, and focus on expanding access to care.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
