Job summary

QuickMD is a fully virtual telemedicine provider seeking dedicated physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states. This independent contractor role offers per-visit compensation and the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Physicians will conduct virtual consultations, document patient care, and collaborate with a support team to deliver high-quality addiction treatment and general telehealth services. Requirements include multi-state licensure, DEA registration, and comfort with EMR platforms.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (buprenorphine for MOUD allowed; no controlled substances otherwise).
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses and staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices.
