Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering high-quality virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own visit schedule within a structured weekly framework and work from anywhere, supported by a streamlined EMR and a dedicated provider-support team.

Compensation is per completed consult ($35/visit), equating to about $105/hour for standard 20-minute visits, with pay rising to $210/hour as shorter visits are adopted.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX; QuickMD covers costs for additional licenses)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days with schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews
• Deliver patient-centered care and build strong doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret laboratory tests as needed to support treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (no C- substances, except buprenorphine for OUD)
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses, and support staff for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices
