Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering high-quality virtual care across 44 states. Since 2019 we’ve helped patients access essential treatment, focusing on addiction care and expanding programs in weight management and general telehealth services.

This remote physician role requires an active license in at least five U.S. states, billing as an independent contractor, and a commitment of 15–20 hours per week across at least four days.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume practice.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Deliver patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret labs as needed to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (no C-Substances, except buprenorphine for MOUD).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices.
