Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential (CDR) and state licensure as needed.
• HIPAA-compliant workspace with secure internet for patient conversations.
• Ability to adapt communication for diverse patient populations.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intensive nutrition counseling and weight management education via phone, video, chat, text, and email.
• Provide medication management and support for obesity-related comorbidities under physician supervision.
• Engage in remote patient monitoring for devices (scale, BP monitor, etc.).
• Support dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications within established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and external providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Build rapport and therapeutic alliances with diverse patient populations.
• Utilize motivational interviewing and other techniques to support behavior change.
• Meet program metrics while maintaining high-quality care standards.
• Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
