Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering high-quality virtual care across 44 states. Physicians work remotely, set their own visit schedules within a structured weekly framework, and are compensated per visit as independent contractors.

Clinicians specialize in addiction care and other telehealth services, supported by an EMR and provider-support team. Licensure in multiple states is required, with compensation scaling with visit length and volume.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days per week; schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication and commitment to clinical excellence

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment allowed)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
