Job summary

CHP Health is seeking a Rapid Response NP to act as the frontline clinical safety net for patients in correctional facilities. You will connect with on-site nursing staff via telehealth, assess, treat, and stabilize patients in real time, and remain available for urgent requests during your 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP license in CA and WA.
• Current DEA registration.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, or correctional healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the sole rapid response provider during your assigned 24-hour periods.
• Maintain availability via Microsoft Teams during your full assigned shift.
• Respond to emergencies and urgent matters promptly.
• Conduct telehealth visits and complete documentation.
• Document all intake assessments, stabilization plans, and medication orders in the EHR.
