Job summary

Rosaires Care is seeking a Corrections Nurse Practitioner to deliver primary and urgent care to detained adults within a secure facility. You will perform comprehensive health assessments, respond to sick calls, and manage chronic and acute conditions while coordinating treatments with the healthcare team.

Collaborating with custody, nursing, and behavioral health staff, you will ensure strict documentation, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure and appropriate clinical scope.
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and chronic care management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a secure environment.
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and protocol adherence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings and evaluations
• Manage chronic disease and urgent clinical needs
• Provide sick call care and administer/adjust medication regimens
• Perform minor procedures within scope
• Document clinical encounters and comply with required protocols
• Coordinate specialty referrals and interdepartmental communication
• Maintain patient safety and security compliance in a correctional setting
