UnitedHealth Group is seeking a National On Call Advanced Practice Clinician for telehealth urgent care, offering remote 24/7 coverage across markets. The role emphasizes telephonic and video care with patients, caregivers, and facilities, requiring secure handling of patient information.

This part-time work-from-home position requires flexible shifts including weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a 40-hour per week minimum when scheduled.

Qualifications

• NP: Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program.
• Active and unrestricted Colorado NP license and ability to start obtaining additional licensure prior to start date.
• Board certified NP (Family/Adult/Gerontology) with certification from AANP or ANCC.
• 3+ years of clinical APC experience and DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic/telehealth care and direction to patients, caregivers and facility staff for 24/7 coverage.
• Utilize EMR proficiently to document care and manage encounters.
• Deliver cost-effective, quality care handling medical and behavioral, chronic and acute conditions.
• Coordinate care as patients transition between care settings and plans of care changes.
• Participate in quality initiatives and maintain patient privacy in a secure location.
