Job summary

Wellpath seeks a Virtual Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to provide care to incarcerated patients via telemedicine. Responsibilities include history and physicals, sick calls, and collaboration with onsite teams, with documentation in EMR and HIPAA compliance.

Requirements include a master’s in nursing, current licensure in states of practice (FL/NY), and correctional healthcare experience. This is a full-time remote role with ongoing training and support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing (NP) required.
• Minimum of one year correctional healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform telehealth assessments and sick call visits with onsite staff.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Provide patient and staff education on conditions, medications, and treatment plans.
• Participate in peer review, quality management, and administrative meetings.
• Support cross-coverage and emergency evaluations as needed.
