Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited education program for PAs.
• Minimum of one year correctional healthcare experience preferred.
• Unrestricted license/certification/registration in each state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual primary care exams and sick calls in collaboration with onsite staff.
• Develop and document treatment plans in the EMR following best practices.
• Educate patients and facility staff on medical conditions and treatments.
• Participate in quality management, peer reviews, and administrative meetings.
• Assess acute and psychiatric concerns in accordance with protocols and supervision.
