Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent.
• Board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling or the American Board of Medical Genetics.
• Two or more years of clinical genetic counseling experience.

Responsibilities

• Review of patient and family history for risk assessment.
• Genetic risk assessment and explanation of results.
• Offer relevant testing options and discuss benefits/risks.
• Document sessions and follow-up plans.
• Respond to health care provider inquiries and collaborate with teams.
• Support protocol and patient education material development.
