Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Full-Time Remote Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the Telehealth Services team. The role offers a base hourly pay range of $21.69–$32.14 with potential additional compensation and a $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with one weekend and one closing shift per month. Responsibilities include patient care and related administrative tasks under supervision in a telehealth setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA/CMAC or equivalent certification or EMT‑Basic certification is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and administrative/clerical tasks under supervision of the physician, NP/PA, RN, or LPN and as trained.
