Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Full-Time Remote Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Telehealth Services team. The CMA will support high-quality virtual patient care and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team across communities served.

The role requires BLS within 90 days and an active CMA/EMT certification. The base pay ranges from $21.69–$32.14 per hour, with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Current, unexpired Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC, or equivalent) or EMT-Basic certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and administrative/clerical tasks under supervision of licensed clinicians.
• Supports delivery of high-quality virtual patient care in Telehealth Services.
