Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers seeks a Telecounselor I to provide HIPAA-compliant, synchronous video counseling across New Season clinics nationwide. This role may offer remote work and requires adherence to assigned schedules and a multidisciplinary team approach for patient well-being.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in a Human Services field, with preferred licensure (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT). Experience in substance abuse or telecounseling is a plus, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field with licensure preferred (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT or equivalent) in the supported state.
• Experience in Substance Abuse and/or Telecounseling is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual telecounseling via synchronous video for patients.
• Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
• Maintain 50% direct patient contact hours monthly.
• Complete screenings, psychosocials, notes, and treatment plans in EMR.
• Coordinate intake, discharge, and transfer paperwork as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
