Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group seeks a Board-Certified Psychiatrist for a 100% remote Tele-Psychiatry role. The physician will join the Department of Psychiatry to lead evaluations and treatment for hospitalized and ER patients, working in a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule.

Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry or Emergency Psychiatry is desirable, with Texas licensing required and residency in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana or Georgia.

Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist licensed in the applicable states.
• Experience in hospital or emergency settings preferred.
• Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine–Psychiatry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide tele-psychiatry evaluations and treatments for inpatients and ED patients.
• Lead interdisciplinary team collaboration for psychiatric care.
• Contribute to program development for remote care delivery.
