Job summary

Commerce seeks a Technical Customer Support Representative to deliver phone, email, and chat-based support for merchants using our leading ecommerce platform. You will educate customers, troubleshoot issues, and guide them to best practices.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, the ability to read or edit HTML/CSS/JavaScript basics, and a customer-first approach. Remote-friendly schedules include evenings and weekends, with pay range $19–$21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing, service-oriented role is required.
• Excellent use of self-service resources to solve problems.
• Strong understanding of web/eCommerce technologies and hosting basics.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to de-escalate customers.
• Familiarity with reading or editing HTML/CSS/JavaScript basics is a plus.
