Job summary

Stripe is seeking a technical support engineer to join the Metronome-backed team. You will be on the front lines providing world-class customer service, becoming an expert on our product, and collaborating with Metronome's engineers, customer success, solutions architecture, and growth teams.

Your focus will include handling escalations via our ticketing system, diagnosing issues with observability tools, building internal tools, and contributing knowledge base content to improve the support

Qualifications

2+ years in B2B customer-facing technical support or engineering.
Experience collaborating with engineering teams and giving technical feedback.
Ability to debug and triage customer bugs and escalations.
Ability to communicate technical product capabilities to customers.
Experience scripting or building internal tools with APIs; SQL knowledge.
Strong written and verbal communication; clear explanations.
Customer empathy mindset and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to customers’ developers on API integration and usage.
Troubleshoot issues and diagnose blockers; escalate with context.
Develop internal tools to automate customer workflows and improve features.
Design and help build a comprehensive knowledge base for the product.
