Job summary

ZEISS in Hebron, KY is seeking a customer care professional to support ZEISS Hunting and Nature. You will handle client inquiries by phone and web, coordinate with repair, sales, and operations, and ensure smooth order processing and case updates in ERP and CRM systems.

This role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude. On-site work with potential remote flexibility is available, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in customer care, technical support or a related field.
• Experience with hunting or nature observation optics (riflescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes) is required.
• Knowledge of hunting firearms and ballistics is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication to service all customers.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer phone calls and advise on sending products for repair, parts, and inquiries.
• Coordinate with repair, sales, and operations teams on inquiries; inform Service Manager of potential problems and escalations.
• Maintain a proactive, can-do attitude when handling customer issues.
• Act as a primary contact for consumers via phone and web inquiries.
• Enter sales orders into SAP as required.
• Update service cases in Salesforce as contact with consumers occurs.
• Receive spare part requests and process spare parts orders.
• Undertake other duties or projects as assigned by the Service Manager.
