Job summary

Bekaert is seeking a Technical Service Manager Mining to serve as the technical backbone of the commercial team in North America. You will provide on-site support, lead quality investigations, and drive the Ropes 360 services platform while partnering with sales and engineering.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in wire rope applications or field service, a mechanical/mining engineering background, and readiness to travel up to 40% across North America.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in wire rope applications, heavy equipment maintenance, or technical field service.
• BS/BA degree in Mechanical/Mining Engineering or related technical field.
• Remote work option with proximity to key operations or Bekaert facilities (Hanover Township, PA or Wilkes-Barre, PA).

Responsibilities

• Provide field technical support during customer visits, demonstrations, troubleshooting, and consultations across Mining and Oil & Gas.
• Lead investigation and resolution of quality claims with root-cause analysis and reports.
• Perform on-site inspections of wire ropes, sheaves, drums, and related equipment; deliver actionable reports.
• Drive Ropes 360 services deployment in North America and develop training programs.
• Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, QA, and global engineering to tailor technical solutions.
• Support OEM specification and demand generation for Bridon wire rope brand.
