Job summary

German American Chambers of Commerce is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for Prepreg & Advanced Composites. The role is remote in the United States, with the Midwest preferred for access to an airport, and requires substantial travel across North America.

You will engage with OEMs, composite fabricators, distributors, and internal teams to understand customer needs, support material evaluation, and help develop applications and commercial opportunities in markets like industrial automation,

Qualifications

• Direct experience with prepregs is required.
• Strong understanding of thermoset prepregs and structural composites.
• Experience working with customers in technical or commercial roles.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop customer and growth opportunities for prepreg and advanced composites across North America.
• Build relationships with OEMs, composite fabricators, processors, distributors, and technical stakeholders.
• Understand material, processing, performance, and application requirements with customers.
• Support material evaluation, sampling, testing, qualification, specification, and commercialization activities.
• Contribute to a qualified pipeline of customer and application opportunities.
• Support technical presentations, proposals, quotations, pricing discussions, and negotiations.
• Coordinate customer projects with engineering, product management teams.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
