Job summary

Slang AI is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own end-to-end recruiting for technical roles, partnering with engineering and product leaders to understand needs and find exceptional, sometimes passive, candidates. You’ll manage multiple requisitions and drive process improvements in a fast-growing startup.

You’ll report to the Head of People and work with a lean team that values thoughtful hiring and scalable playbooks.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• At least 2 years sourcing and closing technical roles (Software Engineers, ML/AI, DevOps).
• Proven ability to build sourcing pipelines from scratch.
• Comfortable running structured interview processes and advising hiring managers.
• Strong written communication in outreach, JD writing and candidate messages.
• Active and fluent use of AI tools in day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting cycle for open roles—from sourcing to close.
• Partner closely with Engineering, AI/ML, and Product hiring managers to understand their needs.
• Be the primary relationship between candidates and Slang from first touch to offer acceptance.
• Manage a pipeline of 4–6 active technical requisitions with quality and velocity.
