Job summary

The Center for Advanced Transportation Technology Laboratory (CATT Lab) at the University of Maryland, College Park is seeking a Mid/Senior Technical Program Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex software and analytics solutions.

The TPM will coordinate between technical teams, stakeholders, and customers, balancing 80% program management with up to 20% product ownership, and can work fully remote from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

Master's degree required.
5+ years in program/project/product management.
Experience managing multiple concurrent technical projects.
Experience with software projects, analytics, or data platforms.
Leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid methods.
Experience with Jira/Confluence.
Strong facilitation and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex software and analytics solutions.
Serve as liaison between technical teams, product stakeholders, leadership, and customers.
Coordinate cross-project program planning and resource allocation.
Oversee multidisciplinary teams including software, data science, UX/UI, IT, and support.
Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
