Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Product Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex, high-impact technical programs. You will collaborate with engineering and product management to drive initiatives from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and budgets.

The role requires a strong technical background and excellent PM skills, with the ability to communicate status to senior leaders.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in a tech environment.
Strong technical background in software development or systems engineering.
Excellent PM skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
Experience with cloud technologies, SDLC, and DevOps is a plus.
PM certifications (PMP, PgMP) or equivalent are a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple technical programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, schedule, resources, risks, and milestones.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define requirements and deliverables.
Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure successful outcomes.
Communicate project status to stakeholders, including senior management, clearly.
Drive process improvements in project management methodologies.
Manage project budgets and track expenses for cost-effective use of resources.
Provide technical guidance to teams and enable cross-team collaboration.
