Job summary

DATAmundi is seeking a Technical Project Manager with hands-on data engineering skills to lead data processing for AI. You will translate client requirements into automated validation logic, support data post-processing, and ensure data is consistent and measurable against client metrics.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in technical delivery / project coordination in a data environment.
• Practical comfort with Python, SQL, Regex and Windows CMD.
• Strong written communication and ability to convert fuzzy requirements into precise, testable checks.
• Experience working with engineering teams and using Jira to drive execution.
• Ability to evaluate options and recommend approaches based on pros/cons, timelines and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end data deliveries from intake to validation and handoff.
• Validate client data delivered via S3 buckets or direct uploads for structure and readiness.
• Translate client guidelines into automated validation using SQL, Regex and supporting scripts.
• Create and compute quality metrics (WER, IAA) and other dataset-level metrics.
• Use Windows CMD for bulk file operations to support processing workflows.
• Write Jira tickets for platform improvements and bug fixes with clear acceptance criteria.
• Ramp quickly on internal platforms and configuration logic, advising on setup patterns and tradeoffs.
• Investigate issues by querying datasets and summarizing findings.
