Job summary

Black Financial Consult is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a remote role. You will gather and document business and technical requirements, draft user stories, and support API and system integration analysis.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful software delivery. This entry-level to mid-level role emphasizes SDLC understanding, strong analytical skills, and the ability to learn quickly in a distributed team

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or bootcamps included).
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Gather and document business and technical requirements.
Assist in creating user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
Support the analysis of business processes and system workflows.
Work with engineering teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional issues.
Assist in API and system integration analysis.
Support software testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect tracking.
Maintain project documentation and requirement traceability.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful product delivery.
