Job summary

Santa Clara University seeks a Technical Architect for University Relations to provide technical oversight, design, and development of custom integrations across BBCRM and related systems using the Blackbaud SDK and SQL scripting.

The role collaborates with diverse users to gather requirements, code, test, and maintain integrations, while guiding third‑party tools and data quality improvements. This 3:2 hybrid position reports to the AVP.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of MS SQL and writing scripts/T-SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop modular code using the Blackbaud SDK for customizations.
• Oversee prototyping, design decisions, and documentation.
• QA and unit testing of customizations, and code repository work.
• Provide technical support for BBCRM/BBIS self-hosted apps with IT and vendors.
• Lead evaluation/implementation of future third‑party systems and integrations.
• Ensure processes and documentation are maintained and updated.
