Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Public Relations Associate to strengthen its North America presence. You’ll craft compelling narratives, generate media coverage, and track content performance while collaborating with product, revenue, executives and PR agency partners to maximize impact.

The role emphasizes strong writing, relationship building with technology media, and the ability to respond quickly to evolving market trends in a data-driven, global technology environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience supporting public relations programs; in-house and/or PR agency experience required.
• Experience in global B2B technology, software, services companies a plus.
• A strong writer and storyteller that can draft compelling messaging for press releases, messaging docs, press presentations, bylines, blogs and FAQs.
• Knowledge of the technology and data trends landscape to develop rapid response to breaking situations that require messaging or external media activity.
• Demonstrated ability to create high-quality work, calmly and with good judgment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive Hitachi Vantara’s PR programs for the company’s technology, infrastructure and partner program to address business, tech and vertical media (with focus on North America)
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with technology and channel partner media
• Develop thoughtful and interesting content for communications opportunities including press releases, messaging documents, FAQs, blogs, byline articles, and speaking opportunity abstracts and presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and revenue marketing, executive communications, customer advocacy, partner marketing, analyst relations and social media to proactively engage on communications content and media opportunities
• Work closely with PR agency partners to develop media strategies and execute program elements
