You will lead delivery, mentor engineering teams, and partner with CFOs and Controllers to modernize and optimize financial platforms, architectures, and deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Tech Lead with architecture responsibilities
• Experience with .NET, SQL Server, Azure, and SAP-integrated finance apps
• Strong communication with CFOs and Controllers

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and trusted advisor for Finance applications.
• Partner with Controllers, CFOs, Product Owners, and Finance stakeholders.
• Translate technical concepts into business terms for non-technical audiences.
• Apply accounting concepts to explain solutions, prioritize work, and enforce delivery accountability.
• Discuss financial controls, GRC, SOX, General Ledger, and finance processes.
• Lead and mentor development teams while remaining hands-on.
• Own delivery estimates, planning, and realistic timelines with capacity forecasts.
• Review code, approve pull requests, and oversee Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Own deployments and release management.
• Expand and mature the Architecture practice and operate as a Solutions Architect.
• Create and maintain roadmaps, architecture diagrams, future-state designs, and modernization strategies.
• Sign off on architectural decisions and technical designs.
• Re-architect legacy apps to improve data quality, scalability, self-service, security, and operations.
• Support application modernization, lift-and-shift, and cloud hardening.
