Job summary

National Computer Systems is seeking a Tech Lead (React + Node.js) to guide the design, development and delivery of scalable web applications. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with Product, Architects, QA, DevOps and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable software solutions.

The ideal candidate excels in React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and system design.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Redux, Context API, or equivalent state-management solutions.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and browser fundamentals.
• Experience with frontend performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar testing frameworks

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of web applications using React.js and Node.js.
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance frontend and backend applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor a team of software engineers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Define application architecture, technical standards, and development practices.
• Identify technical risks and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Participate in estimation, sprint planning, technical discussions, and architecture reviews.
• Establish and maintain automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the technology stack.
