Job summary

OAK'S LAB seeks an experienced Tech Lead to own the technical buildout across products. You will mentor a small team, shape architecture and infrastructure, and align with product goals.

You’ll work with PMs, design leads, and the Head of Engineering, contributing to AI-driven development and cutting-edge tooling. You will guide 3–7 engineers, ensure timely delivery, and continuously improve engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• 6+ years in engineering.
• 3+ years in building web apps with Node.js and React.
• Experience in architecting software (from scratch is a plus).
• Experience in hosting infrastructure setup and maintenance.
• Strong business acumen (early-stage startups a plus).
• Desire to learn new technologies and apply AI in workflow.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking for complex technical challenges.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers (3–7 engineers).
• Own the project's technical delivery and architecture.
• Collaborate with PM and Design Lead to align goals.
• Guide tech direction and delivery with Head of Engineering input.
• Participate in internal AI Guild and engineering leads council.
• Review code and improve development processes.
