Truelogic, a New York-based provider of nearshore staff augmentation, is seeking an elite Hands-On Tech Lead. You will own end-to-end features, build high-performance TypeScript APIs, and lead AI-powered engineering efforts in a fully remote environment.

Join a lean, autonomous team delivering innovative real estate tech for a top client. You will write production-grade code across the full stack (TypeScript, SvelteKit, React/Vue) and implement AI tooling, guardrails, and robust testing.

Qualifications

• Expert-level TypeScript proficiency with deep patterns like Generics and Discriminated Unions to maximize shipping speed.
• Deep Node.js experience, with background in building state-machine-driven backend logic.
• Strong web development capabilities; primary stack is SvelteKit, with React or Vue welcomed.
• Track record deploying LLM-powered features or agents, with understanding of costs, evaluations, and safety.
• Daily use of next-gen engineering assistants to automate boilerplate, plus disciplined debugging.
• Ability to work across the full web stack autonomously without blockers.

Responsibilities

• Guide the development of end-to-end features for a lean team, balancing rapid shipping with code health.
• Remain hands-on, writing production-grade code across the full-stack TypeScript ecosystem.
• Deploy custom agentic workflows, state machines, and RAG pipelines.
• Build guardrails, traceability frameworks, and quality algorithms for LLM outputs.
• Turn high-level ideas into functional code quickly, prioritizing execution over lengthy meetings.
• Establish code review processes and guidelines for responsible AI coding practices.
