Job summary

RouteOne is seeking a Team Lead, Application Development to oversee the software development lifecycle from intake to production, ensuring on-time delivery within budget. You will lead developers, architects and QA, and mentor team members while collaborating with the Product Owner to translate priorities into executable plans and maintain a ready backlog.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Experience leading a team of developers, architects and quality personnel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the software development process from intake through production, ensuring adherence to processes and timely delivery within budget.
• Own team-level Agile execution and Scrum Master responsibilities, facilitating ceremonies and removing impediments.
• Manage a team of developers, architects, and quality personnel, ensuring goals are met and high performance.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Partner with Product Owner and stakeholders to translate priorities into executable team plans and backlog.
• Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery and ensure code reviews and best practices are followed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in software development and provide mentorship as needed.
