Qualifications

• Active CPA, EA, or equivalent professional tax credential.
• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Strong background with individual and business entity taxation.
• Experience with S-Corporations, Partnerships, and closely held businesses.
• Ability to communicate tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Experience handling complex returns and tax planning engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns.
• Advise clients on tax-saving opportunities and planning strategies.
• Conduct tax projections and year-round planning engagements.
• Support clients with federal and state tax matters.
• Assist with notice resolution and client correspondence.
• Review work prepared by junior team members.
• Research changing tax regulations and communicate impacts to clients.
• Partner with leadership on complex tax engagements and special projects.
• Utilize emerging technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and client service.
