Creative Planning, LLC is seeking a Tax Supervisor to deliver comprehensive tax preparation, review and advisory services across client engagements, while building relationships and seeking growth opportunities.

The role emphasizes mentorship, regulatory compliance, and active participation in firm initiatives. You will lead engagements, support staff, ensure quality work, and contribute to business development in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or master's in taxation.
• CPA certification; highly preferred.
• 4+ years of professional services experience with a track record of high achievement.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, teamwork and organizational skills.
• Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• PC proficiency: spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of specialized tax, compliance and consulting services in compliance with laws, regulations and timelines.
• Keeps current on and applies basic accounting standards and education; identifying and mitigating tax risks.
• Ensure quality completion of client engagements and provide innovative tax planning.
• Act as a resource for staff and senior accountants, providing feedback and guidance.
• Adhere to client confidentiality and risk management policies; escalate issues as needed.
• Build authentic relationships with clients to identify growth opportunities for Creative Planning.
• Participate in business development meetings to generate new client projects and revenue.
• Explore industry specialization and industry-focused service opportunities.
• Be a resource for tax team members with training and feedback on client engagements.
• Support growth and professional development through firm trainings, CPE, internal committees, and mentorship.
