CohnReznick is seeking a National Tax Senior Associate within the Trust & Estate Tax team in Illinois. The role focuses on fiduciary and estate tax work, with opportunities to support 1040/1041 and broader tax engagements across high net worth clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Tax is a plus.
• CPA, EA, LLM, or JD is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive tax experience with trusts and estates and high net worth clients.
• Strong tax research skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills.

Responsibilities

• Review gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns for the T&E Group.
• Handle 1040/1041 returns as needed.
• Review fiduciary accounting for trusts and estates.
• Provide tax planning and consulting to high net worth clients for estate and individual income taxes.
• Have responsibility for managing all aspects of client relationships.
• Manage a team of professionals within the group to complete engagements from start to finish.
