Qualifications

• 4+ years of federal income tax consulting experience (large firm or IRS preferred).
• J.D. required.
• Experience with partnerships, S corporations, and/or C corporations.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Proficient with tax research databases (Bloomberg BNA, RIA Checkpoint).

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze federal income tax issues including partnerships and corporate structures.
• Assist with M&A tax structuring and internal restructurings.
• Draft emails and memos for clients and internal teams.
• Prepare firm-wide alerts on current federal income tax developments.
• Assist with firm-wide trainings in federal income tax.
• Support domestic tax due diligence for M&A transactions.
