Job summary

Sikich in Indianapolis is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee multiple client engagements, supervise tax planning and business succession engagements, and ensure accurate return preparation.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with partners and other service teams, and contribute to business development while delivering comprehensive tax solutions in a remote-friendly, fast-paced environment. CPA/EA certification and a BA/BS in accounting or finance are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or EA certification required.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience.
• 2+ years leading teams and mentoring.
• Experience reviewing 1040/1120/1120S/1065 tax returns.
• Proficient with tax software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple client engagements and manage budgets.
• Review tax returns (1040/1120/1120S/1065) for accuracy.
• Consult with partners and clients on tax matters.
• Collaborate with Advisory and Tech teams to deliver solutions.
• Develop staff through coaching and mentoring.
• Support business development and client networks.
• Contribute to recruitment and training initiatives.
• Stay updated on service offerings and opportunities.
