Job summary

Sikich is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee multiple client engagements and ensure timely, accurate tax compliance. You will supervise staff, review returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065), and advise clients while collaborating with partners to deliver comprehensive solutions for middle-market businesses.

The role requires 5+ years in public accounting, CPA/EA, and leadership experience. Remote work is supported; a strong client-relations mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or EA certification required.
• 5+ years in public accounting.
• 2+ years leading teams and mentoring staff.
• Experience with tax compliance including Form 1040, 1120, 1120-S and 1065 returns.
• Proficient with tax software & MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple client engagements with budget management.
• Review tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065).
• Consult with partners and clients on tax matters.
• Collaborate with advisory and tech teams to deliver client solutions.
• Develop staff through supervision and mentoring.
• Identify new business opportunities and build client networks.
• Support recruiting and training initiatives.
