Parallel Advisors, LLC is seeking a results-driven Tax Manager to lead our tax department's compliance, advisory, and planning efforts. You will work with clients and financial advisors to deliver high-touch, personalized service in a fully remote capacity.

The role requires strong technical tax knowledge, client-facing strengths, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a BA/BS in Finance or Accounting, CPA or enrolled agent status, 7+

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA license or IRS Enrolled Agent (CPA preferred).
• 7+ years of experience preparing complex tax returns for high-net-worth clients.
• Experience with professional tax software packages (Lacerte, Ultra Tax CS, CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx) and automated digital workpapers (SurePrep).
• Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and related entities.
• Analyze client books (e.g., QuickBooks Online) for tax data and year-end adjustments.
• Serve as primary contact for external client communications regarding tax matters.
• Prepare Quarterly and Year-End Tax Projections and estimate tax payments.
• Conduct tax research and propose solutions to client questions.
• Act as point person for assigned clients and respond to technical requests.
