Tom Trese Networking LLC in the Southeast seeks a Tax Manager to support individual and business taxation for a diverse client base. Flexible locations and remote-start options are available as the firm grows.

There are opportunities for partnership, growth and development, with promotions twice a year and flexible work arrangements. With offices across the Southeast, the firm offers relocation options and a one-firm approach to serve local small businesses and larger projects alike.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting experience reviewing both individual and business taxation.
• CPA or EA in progress preferred.
• Ability to manage client engagements and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of clients and provide client services in the areas of individual and business taxation.
• Manage project deadlines and plan appropriately with associates and senior associates.
• Coordinate with the team members on all phases of the Tax engagement.
• Review mostly business (and some Individual) tax returns and provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Provide high-level client service.
• Keep current on tax law changes and accounting related developments and best practices.
• Work with team members for continual process improvement.
• Participate in practice development and various firm activities.
• Develop an area of tax specialization.
