Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 0–3 years of public accounting or tax-related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software.
• Working knowledge of federal and state tax concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and nonprofits as applicable.
• Assist with tax planning projects and compliance support.
• Perform basic tax research and summarize findings for senior team members.
• Organize and maintain client tax documentation and workpapers.
• Communicate with clients to request information and clarify tax-related questions.
• Assist with extensions, estimated tax payments, and filing requirements.
• Support year-end and busy season workflows.
• Ensure compliance with firm procedures, deadlines, and professional standards.
