Tooth and Coin, a fully remote digital CPA firm, seeks a Staff Tax Accountant to join its high-performing tax team. The position involves collaborating with other tax and accounting professionals to deliver top-notch services to dental practices. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, at least three years of tax preparation experience, and ideally hold a CPA license to effectively manage tax returns and client communications throughout the year, including busy tax seasons.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of tax preparation experience (individual and business returns).
• CPA license strongly preferred, candidates without a CPA must be actively pursuing it.
• Experience in public accounting or multi-client environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the tax team and accounting team to deliver high-quality tax services.
• Communicate directly with clients to collect information and maintain strong relationships.
• Organize, analyze, and compile client data to support accurate tax preparation.
• Prepare individual and business tax returns, handling up to 200 returns annually.
