Job summary

LanguageLine Solutions LLC is seeking a Taiwan­ese-English interpreter to work from home as an independent contractor in the United States. You will handle on-demand calls, render meanings between Taiwanese and English speakers, and support a wide range of industries including healthcare and government.

The role emphasizes quick, accurate interpretation, cultural sensitivity, and a quiet home office environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Taiwanese and English with cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to assess regional and accent differences to communicate with LEP.
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking to maintain high accuracy in interpretation.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities
