Job summary

Yoh Life Sciences is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to lead the integration of sensors and sample conditioning systems for rugged field-deployable analytical platforms in Houston/Austin, TX. The role demands hands-on design, enclosure packaging, and strong collaboration with fabrication partners to ensure production-ready units.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in design/integration, proficiency in SolidWorks, GD&T, and familiarity with Class I, Division 2 or related hazardous-area

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in product design, systems integration, or panel design.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) with GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, sourcing, and integration of diverse sensors into core platform.
• Design and specify custom sample conditioning systems for liquid and gas streams.
• Package and enclose hardware with thermal management and robust wiring.
• Select wetted materials suitable for corrosive or high-salinity streams.
• Create complete CAD documentation: drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, BOMs, manuals.
• Travel to customer sites for installation, SAT, and troubleshooting.
• Interface with fabrication partners and supervise prototyping and design reviews.
