Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Remote System and Data Integration Specialist to support the FAA’s NAS‑BNATCS program. The role covers data mapping, layout development, and end‑to‑end integration across FAA facilities, with heavy emphasis on interoperability and documentation.

You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and project leadership to ensure configurations meet operational requirements, while traveling up to 50–90% CONUS/OCONUS as needed.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years, or Associate's with 14+ years, or HS diploma with 16+ years of experience.
• 10+ years of systems integration experience in complex, multi‑vendor environments including network and software.
• 2+ years configuring and validating Cisco, Dell, and HPE/Aruba infrastructure via vendor interfaces.
• 3+ years analyzing end‑to‑end system functionality, validating architecture, tracing data flows, and troubleshooting interfaces.
• 2+ years Linux system administration using command‑line tools.

Responsibilities

• Support full EIDS System Integration across data, layouts, network components, and facility workflows.
• Gather operational requirements directly from FAA facilities.
• Build LDAs by mapping NDC fields to site-specific operational needs.
• Validate data accuracy, layout behavior, system interfaces, and interoperability.
• Deploy configurations and support iterative refinement across test and operational environments.
• Document field mappings, layout decisions, template structures, system behaviors, and configuration changes.
• Support system integration from hardware setup, logistics coordination, software configuration, and cutover activities.
• Understand Interface Control Documents, engineering drawings, and technical baselines.
• Use standard Cisco diagnostic commands to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Integrate communications equipment with enterprise networks.
• Support deployment and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot common Linux operational issues.
• Verify implementation packages before deployment.
• Work across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Communicate technical issues to engineering and management audiences.
• Analyze and resolve technical problems in a structured manner.
